Advantages

How to use

Install the NH-D15 G2 HBC using the supplied SecuFirm2+™ Torx-based mounting system following the included manual for your socket. Apply a pea-sized amount of the included NT-H2 thermal compound to the CPU heatspreader, mount the heatsink and secure the screws with the provided NM-SD1 screwdriver. Choose single- or dual-fan configuration depending on RAM clearance: single-fan mode provides at least 59 mm clearance for tall memory modules, while dual-fan mode is suited for standard-height RAM. Connect the fan headers to PWM-capable motherboard headers and configure fan curves in BIOS or a fan controller. Use the included Low-Noise Adaptors or motherboard PWM control to limit maximum RPM if desired.

Recommendations

Choose the HBC variant when using Intel LGA1700 CPUs that are used with full ILM pressure or that show concave deformation.
