The InLine® HDMI to DisplayPort converter cable enables a reliable connection from HDMI signal sources such as PCs or notebooks to monitors with a DisplayPort input. The integrated active chipset converts the HDMI signal electronically so that even high-resolution content in 4K at 60 Hz can be transmitted smoothly and in great detail. An additional voltage of 5V/500mA is required on the HDMI side for the power supply. A short USB cable (USB-C with adapter to USB-A) is included for this purpose, which can be flexibly connected to USB ports. The cable is particularly suitable for use in professional environments such as system houses, offices or industrial facilities where HDMI outputs need to be combined with modern DisplayPort displays. How to use

Connect the HDMI plug of the converter to the computer or other HDMI source. Attach a USB power supply (5 V / 500 mA) to the USB power input on the HDMI side to power the internal converter electronics. Plug the DisplayPort connector into the monitor. Power on both devices and set the monitor to the correct DP input; the display should detect the incoming signal and output up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps if supported by the source and display.

Recommendations

Use a dedicated USB power adapter capable of supplying 5 V / 500 mA. Ensure both source and monitor support the selected resolution and refresh rate; if the display or graphics output does not support 4K@30 Hz, reduce resolution or refresh rate in the source settings.
