How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to the network device and the other to the patch panel, switch or server NIC. Route the slimline cable through the rack or cabinet taking advantage of its reduced diameter to minimize bend radius and improve rack airflow. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locked in place. Recommendations

Although ISO/IEC and TIA recommend patch cords between 22 and 26 AWG, this slimline cable uses much thinner conductors (up to 32 AWG), which increases attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments ACT advises bundling no more than 24 cables to limit temperature rise—ANSI TSB-184-A limits the center-cable temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient in such bundles.
