How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the network equipment ports until they click in place. Use the 0.25 m length for short patch connections inside racks or between adjacent devices. Avoid sharp bends at the connector boots and maintain the recommended bending radius for slimline cables to prevent damage. Ensure connectors are fully seated and strain is not applied to the cable during and after installation.

Recommendations

For PoE applications, limit bundled slimline cables to a maximum of 24 cables to control temperature rise. Because the 32 AWG conductors have higher attenuation than standard 24 AWG cords, use shorter permanent link lengths when designing links to accommodate increased signal loss, especially at higher frequencies.
