How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to the network device (switch, patch panel or server) and the other to the corresponding port. Route the slimline cable through the rack or cabinet, taking advantage of the smaller bending radius to fit in tight channels and improve airflow. Avoid excessive twisting and sharp bends beyond the cable's minimum bend radius to maintain CAT6 performance.

Recommendations

For PoE deployments, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 in a bundle to prevent excessive temperature rise. Note that 28 AWG conductors exhibit higher attenuation than 22–26 AWG at higher frequencies; for long runs or applications near the performance limit, verify link performance. ANSI TSB-184-A recommends a maximum temperature increase of less than 15 °C above ambient for the center cable in a bundle.
