ACT Pink 7 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slim-diameter (3.8 mm) Cat6 patch cord designed for data center and network cabinet use. Compared with regular CAT6 patch cords (approx. 5.9 mm), the reduced diameter and smaller bending radius improve cable routing and airflow in server racks. How to use

Route the 7 m slimline CAT6 cable between patch panels, switches and servers as required, avoiding excessively tight bends beyond the cable's specified bending radius. Insert RJ45 plugs fully into ports until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. For best performance, keep cable lengths within standard channel limits and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For PoE deployments, ACT advises bundling no more than 24 slimline cables together to limit temperature rise; this helps keep the center cable's temperature increase under the ANSI TSB-184-A guideline of less than 15 °C above ambient. Be aware that using thinner (28 AWG) conductors increases attenuation at higher frequencies compared with thicker 22–26 AWG wires.
