Patch Cable ACT Pink 0.15m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Snagless RJ45 is a slimline Category 6 Ethernet patch cord with a 0.15 m length, LSZH jacket and snagless RJ45 connectors. With a reduced diameter (3.8 mm) compared to standard CAT6 patch cords, this U/UTP cable is designed for dense installations such as data centers and network cabinets where improved airflow and space saving are important. The cable supports standard CAT6 performance but, because its conductors are 28 AWG, it exhibits higher attenuation at higher frequencies compared with 22–26 AWG cords. The cable has gold-plated contacts and a pink outer colour for easy identification.

How to use

Insert the snagless RJ45 connector into the RJ45 port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 0.15 m patch cable for short connections between ports in patch panels, switches and servers. Avoid exceeding the recommended bundle size for PoE applications; when routing through racks or trays maintain the cable bend radius appropriate for slimline cords to prevent damage and excessive attenuation.

Recommendations

For Power over Ethernet installations, keep bundles to a maximum of 24 slimline 28 AWG CAT6 cables to limit temperature rise in accordance with ANSI TSB-184-A. Use LSZH cabling where low smoke and toxic emission is required.
