The ACT Keystone Jack RJ45 CAT6A Shielded toolless with dust cover (TD6525) is a shielded, toolless keystone jack designed for mounting in patch panels and wall outlets. It accepts solid or stranded cables with an outer diameter of 5.0–8.5 mm and conductors of 23–26 AWG. The jack includes a white dust cover to protect the 50 µin gold-plated contacts and a supplied zip-tie for strain relief. It supports PoE++ (100 W, Type 4) and is compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes for straightforward termination.

How to use

Insert a compatible Ethernet cable (5.0–8.5 mm outer diameter, 23–26 AWG) into the keystone jack, follow the colour-coded T568A or T568B wiring diagram printed on the module and terminate the conductors using the toolless LSA slots. Close the white dust cover to protect the contacts and secure the cable with the supplied zip-tie for strain relief. Snap the keystone into a compatible patch panel or wall plate until it locks into place.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use Cat6A-rated cable and maintain correct wiring order (T568A or T568B). Ensure the shield is properly grounded when used in shielded installations. Verify PoE power requirements of connected devices before applying PoE++ (100 W).
