How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network switch or patch panel port and the other into the device or module port. Route the slimline cable through the cabinet or under raised floors, taking advantage of the smaller diameter to improve bend radius and airflow. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to guarantee a secure connection.

Recommendations

Use bundles of up to 24 cables for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications to limit temperature rise; higher bundle sizes may increase cable temperature. Because the cable uses 32 AWG conductors, attenuation is higher than with standard 24 AWG patch cords, so ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths compared with regular CAT6A 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate higher attenuation.
