How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network port of your switch, patch panel or device and the other end to the corresponding port. Route the 2 m cable within the cabinet or tray taking advantage of its slim profile to reduce bend radius and congestion. For reliable high-frequency performance, avoid unnecessary cable stress or sharp bends and maintain appropriate separation from high-power sources.

Recommendations

Use a maximum bundle size of 24 cables in PoE applications to limit temperature rise; the ANSI TSB-184-A guideline restricts temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient for the centre cable in a bundle. Because slimline cables may use thinner conductors (e.g., 32 AWG), ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate the higher attenuation at higher frequencies.
