ACT Black 3 meters S/FTP CAT7 PUR flex patch cable snagless with RJ45 connectors (CAT6A compliant)

The ACT Black 3 meters S/FTP CAT7 PUR flex patch cable is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor applications. With a polyurethane (PUR) jacket, the cable is oil- and UV-resistant and remains flexible across a wide range of weather conditions. The S/FTP construction with full copper 24 AWG conductors meets CAT7 performance requirements and supports PoE+ (30 W). The cable is fitted with snagless RJ45 connectors with 50 µ gold-plated contacts that comply with CAT6A contact specifications. All PUR flex patch cables conform to ISO/IEC 11801-2.

Advantages

The PUR jacket provides enhanced resistance to oil and UV exposure while maintaining flexibility, making the cable suitable for challenging environments. Full copper 24 AWG conductors ensure reliable high-speed data transmission and compatibility with PoE+ devices. Snagless RJ45 connectors with 50 µ gold contacts offer corrosion resistance and stable connections. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801-2 confirms standardized performance for structured cabling.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to a network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other to the destination device (PC, access point, IP phone). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For outdoor or industrial runs, secure the cable to prevent excessive movement or abrasion and avoid sharp bends that can affect performance. Use appropriate cable management in racks and conduits to maintain bend radius and airflow.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid direct prolonged exposure to chemicals or extreme mechanical stress. When used outdoors, route the cable in protected channels or conduits where possible and verify compatibility with environmental and mounting conditions. Test connections after installation to confirm link speed and PoE delivery.
