How to use

Recommendations

Although ISO/IEC and TIA standards typically reference 22–26 AWG patch cords, this slimline product uses thinner conductors (similar to 32 AWG) which increase attenuation, especially at higher frequencies. To accommodate this, limit the permanent link length compared with regular 24 AWG patch cords. For PoE deployments, ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 cables to prevent excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A limits the center-cable temperature increase to less than 15°C above ambient.
