ACT Black 15 meters S/FTP CAT7 PUR flex patch cable snagless with RJ45 connectors (CAT6A compliant)

The ACT Black 15m S/FTP CAT7 PUR Flex Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a 15‑metre network patch cable designed for high‑speed data transmission and demanding installation environments. The cable features a polyurethane (PUR) jacket that is oil and UV resistant, remains flexible across a wide temperature range, and is suitable for challenging indoor and outdoor industrial use. It uses S/FTP shielding and full copper 24 AWG conductors that meet CAT7 specifications, with gold‑plated RJ45 contacts meeting CAT6A contact requirements. The cable supports PoE+ (30 W) applications and is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801‑2 standards.

Advantages

The PUR jacket provides enhanced mechanical resistance and flexibility, making the cable durable in environments with oil exposure, sunlight or repeated movement. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable high‑frequency performance, while full copper 24 AWG conductors ensure reliable signal transmission. Gold‑plated RJ45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other end to the device requiring network access. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connector ends. Route the cable away from high‑voltage power lines to minimize interference and use appropriate cable management such as trays or ties to prevent mechanical strain. For outdoor use, protect termination points from direct water ingress.

Recommendations

For best long‑term performance, avoid repeated tight bending radii and secure the cable with gentle cable ties. Use the cable within its rated temperature and mechanical specifications, and verify PoE+ power budgets when powering devices. When installing in exposed areas, protect connectors and terminations from direct weather exposure to prolong service life.
