The ACT HDMI Cable 80 meters Premium 4K Active Optical v2.0 is an active HDMI AOC (Active Optical Cable) with HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends. Combining copper and optical fiber with Kevlar mechanical protection and aluminium foil shielding, the cable enables reliable transmission of 4K@60Hz video and audio over long distances without data loss. Supplied on a spool, it is ultra-slim and flexible for easier installation.

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A male connector at one end of the ACT AOC cable to the HDMI output of the source device and the other end to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted and supported devices are set to the desired resolution and refresh rate. Because the cable is active, no external power supply is required; handle the cable by the connectors or outer jacket and avoid sharp bends at the termination points.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the optical section, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources, and terminate the run with compatible HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 supporting devices. Use the spool for storage and routing during installation to prevent damage.
