ACT 10 meters HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable with detachable connector v2.0 HDMI-A male - HDMI-A male

The ACT AOC 10 m HDMI cable combines copper conductors and optical fiber to transmit 4K video and multichannel audio over long distances up to 100 m without data loss. This active optical cable supports a bandwidth of 18 Gbps (4:4:4) and is compatible with HDMI 2.0 and earlier HDMI versions. The cable is supplied on a coil and includes a detachable plug and a protector with a pulling eye for easier installation through conduits and plenum spaces.

Advantages

The AOC design uses copper and glass fiber to maintain signal integrity over long runs while reducing RFI/EMI thanks to aluminium foil shielding and Kevlar-reinforced fiber. It supports 3840x2160 @ 60Hz, HDR, HDCP 2.2, EDID, DDC, CEC, ARC and advanced audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The ultra-slim, flexible jacket allows pulling through narrow conduits and the detachable connector with protector simplifies installation.

Suitable for

• Long-distance HDMI connections between source and display (up to 100 m)
• Professional AV installations requiring 4K@60Hz and HDR
• Home theatre systems with multi-channel and bitstream audio
• Environments with limited conduit space or plenum routing
• Setups where HDMI port power may be insufficient (optional external 5V USB power)

How to use

Disconnect the detachable plug from the cable and fit the protector with the pulling eye around the cable when pulling through conduits or plenum spaces. Pull the flexible, ultra-slim cable through the route, remove the protector and reconnect the detachable plug to the cable. Plug HDMI Type A male connectors into the source and display devices. If the transmitter’s HDMI port supplies insufficient power, connect the included USB power cable to an external 5V power source before finalising the connection.

Recommendations

Ensure correct orientation when connecting the marked source and display ends to avoid signal or handshaking issues. Use the detachable plug and protector only for installation; do not leave the protector in place during normal operation. If experiencing power-related signal loss, use the external 5V USB supply provided.
