14-inch WQHD IPS LED Display by Lenovo (FRU01AY926) – 14 inch WQHD IPS replacement screen

This 14-inch WQHD IPS LED display by Lenovo is a replacement screen designed for restoring high-resolution visuals and consistent color reproduction in compatible laptops. The WQHD resolution delivers sharp detail for text and images, while the IPS technology ensures wide viewing angles and stable color across the panel. Its LED backlight provides uniform brightness suitable for everyday computing, business applications and multimedia playback.

Advantages

The IPS panel offers accurate color reproduction and wide viewing angles, reducing color shift when the screen is viewed from the side. WQHD resolution increases pixel density for clearer text and more detailed images compared with lower-resolution 14-inch displays. The LED backlight contributes to even brightness and energy-efficient operation. The display is intended as a direct replacement to restore original screen performance after damage or wear.

How to use

Align the screen assembly with the laptop bezel, connect the display cable securely to the motherboard connector, and ensure the backlight and inverter connections are correct if separate. After assembly, power on the laptop and verify display brightness, color uniformity and resolution settings in the operating system.

Recommendations

Handle the display panel carefully to avoid pressure marks, scratches or damage to the fragile surface. Use antistatic precautions when working inside a laptop, and verify connector orientation before applying force. If color calibration is required, use the operating system’s display settings or a hardware calibrator to achieve the desired color accuracy.
