How to use

Install the XGS2210-52 in a standard 19" rack using the included mounting brackets and connect the uplink ports to your core switch or router. Use the web-based management interface, CLI or supported management utilities to configure VLANs, QoS, PoE settings and access control (802.1x). Connect end devices such as wireless APs, IP phones and cameras to the Gigabit ports; the switch will negotiate link speed and, when required, supply PoE power to compliant devices.

Recommendations

For stable PoE deployments, calculate the total power budget of all attached Powered Devices and ensure the switch’s available PoE budget meets peak demand. Keep firmware updated and use VLANs and QoS to prioritise real-time traffic like VoIP and video.
