How to use

Install the GS1900-8HP on a desktop or mount it according to available mounting options; connect upstream network or router to an uplink port and attach PoE devices to the Gigabit PoE ports. Configure the switch using its web-based management interface or supported management tools to set VLANs, QoS, port security and other L2 features. Monitor device connections and PoE power budgets to ensure powered devices receive required power.

Recommendations

For best results, verify total PoE power budget when connecting multiple high-power devices and plan cable runs to keep uplink links clear. Use VLAN and QoS settings to prioritise voice and surveillance traffic, and enable energy-saving features where appropriate to reduce power consumption.
