How to use

Mount the switch in a standard 19" rack or place it on a flat surface according to the rack-mounting instructions. Connect power and attach network devices to the RJ-45 ports; PoE-capable ports will supply power automatically to compatible devices following IEEE 802.3af/at. Access the web-based management interface via a browser to run the setup wizard, configure VLANs, QoS, IGMP Snooping, Link Aggregation and any security settings such as DoS prevention. Monitor PoE consumption and device status from the management interface to ensure optimal power distribution.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a well-ventilated area and ensure connected PoE devices do not exceed the total available PoE budget. Use the built-in wizard for initial configuration and enable only required services (VLANs, QoS, IGMP) to simplify management and reduce potential attack surface.
