The Netatmo Smart Camera uses face recognition and people detection to only trigger the Smart Siren when an intrusion occurs: no false alarms caused by a family member, a pet or a harmless movement.

In case of intrusion, you also receive a real-time alert on your smartphone, together with a video of the intrusion recorded by the Smart Indoor Camera.

Alarm arms and disarms itself automatically
Did you dash out of the house to catch your train and forget to switch on the alarm? No problem! The Netatmo Smart Alarm System arms and disarms itself automatically when you leave and return home.

You can relax: your smart equipment is programmed to help you! In addition, facial recognition prevents the Smart Indoor Siren from going off when your children come home but raises the alarm if it detects an intruder while you are away.

Easy to set up
Smart and straightforward - that’s the thinking behind Netatmo products. Start by downloading the Netatmo Security app and follow the instructions. Simply place your Smart Indoor Siren on a shelf or table or fix it to the wall next to your Indoor Camera.

The wireless Smart Siren comes with a variety of pre-recorded sounds such as dog barks and other home noises.

How to use

Download the Netatmo Security app and follow the in-app setup instructions to pair the Indoor Siren with your Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera. Place the siren on a shelf or table or mount it on a wall near the camera. Configure automatic arming/disarming based on presence detection, enable pre-recorded presence sounds if desired, and set up smartphone notifications. In an emergency you can trigger the siren remotely from the app.

Recommendations

For best results, install the siren in a central indoor location close to the Netatmo Indoor Camera. Use fresh AA batteries or a stable mains connection and test the alarm and notification settings after setup. Combine the siren and camera to reduce false alarms by relying on face recognition and people detection.
