Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Shipping & Returns

The BenQ TDY31 wireless adapter enables wireless internet connection on BenQ displays. It supports dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and provides a maximum data transfer rate of 867 Mbit/s. The adapter is USB powered and designed to integrate with compatible BenQ screens for convenient network access without wired connections.

Advantages

The adapter offers dual-band operation to reduce interference and improve performance in crowded wireless environments. With USB power it requires no external power supply, simplifying installation. Support for common IEEE 802.11 standards including 802.11ac ensures broad compatibility with modern routers and network equipment.

Suitable for

  • Enabling Wi‑Fi connectivity on BenQ monitors and displays
  • Presentations and digital signage where cable-free network access is preferred
  • Home and office setups requiring a simple wireless solution for a display

Key specifications

  • Brand: BenQ
  • Model: TDY31 (MPN: 5A.F7W28.DP1)
  • Interface: USB (WLAN host interface)
  • Connectivity technology: Wireless
  • Dual-band: 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz
  • Maximum data transfer rate: 867 Mbit/s
  • Networking standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac

How to use

Connect the BenQ TDY31 to the USB port of a compatible BenQ display. Allow the display to detect the adapter and follow on-screen instructions or the display’s network settings menu to scan for available Wi‑Fi networks. Select the desired network and enter the network password if required. Once connected, verify internet access on the display and adjust network settings as needed within the display’s interface.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect to the 5 GHz band when available to achieve higher throughput and lower interference; use the 2.4 GHz band for greater range or compatibility with older routers.
