Weather shield for security camera AXIS 01849-001, universal placement, white

Weather shield for security camera AXIS 01849-001 is a white, universal accessory designed to protect compatible outdoor cameras from rain, snow and direct sunlight. Supplied as a single-piece shield, it is intended for universal placement on compatible camera housings to help maintain clear imaging and extend the service life of outdoor camera installations.

Advantages

The weather shield provides physical protection from precipitation and sunlight, reducing glare and preventing direct exposure that can accelerate wear. Its universal design allows mounting on a range of compatible camera models and the white finish reflects heat to help moderate internal temperature.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The shield is intended as an external accessory and does not provide full environmental sealing for cameras that require IP-level enclosure protection against dust or high-pressure water jets. It may not fit cameras or housings that are not compatible with its universal mounting profile.

How to use

Mount the weather shield onto the compatible camera housing following the camera or accessory mounting instructions. Position the shield so it shades the camera lens from direct sunlight and diverts rain and snow away from the housing opening. Ensure the shield is securely fastened and periodically inspect it for damage or displacement.
