The Samsung HAFEX/EXP water filter is designed for compatible refrigerators with an external in-line cartridge configuration. It measures approximately 5.4 x 5.4 x 25.6 mm and provides filtration that reduces common contaminants, helping to improve the clarity, taste and safety of drinking water and ice produced by the fridge.

Advantages

This in-line cartridge delivers a recommended service life of up to six months under normal household use and a filtration capacity of approximately 2000 litres (about 530 gallons). It is suitable as a direct replacement for models such as WSF100 or EF9603 and is intended to provide consistent performance for drinking water and ice by removing chlorine taste and odour and reducing particulate matter and other common impurities.

How to use

Before installation, shut off the water supply to the refrigerator and relieve pressure by dispensing water until flow stops. Install the cartridge according to the refrigerator or inline housing manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring secure connections and correct flow direction. After installation, flush the system by running water for several minutes or until the water runs clear to remove trapped air and any loose carbon fines. Observe the recommended replacement interval of six months or sooner if water quality or flow rate deteriorates.

Store replacement cartridges in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Use only genuine or compatible cartridges that match the physical and flow specifications of your refrigerator’s inline housing.
