The Xavax 00111822 external water filter is designed for side-by-side refrigerators of any brand and connects directly to the water supply via a 1/4 inch (approx. 6 mm) plastic hose. It is compatible with Samsung 10105J, Daewoo DD7098, EF9603 and many other original filter types. The cartridge contains a specially manufactured carbon block for refrigerators that reduces chlorine and removes suspended particles, improving the taste of drinking water and reducing deposits in the fridge water and ice system.

Advantages

The integrated hose connection with quick-fit fittings allows fast installation without additional adapters or sealing tape; after removing the inlet/outlet stoppers the built-in hose seal creates a reliable connection. The carbon block removes up to 99% of chlorine and filters out solids such as clay, sand and rust. The filter is suitable for universal pre-filtration and has been tested in accordance with EU 1935/2004.

How to use

Shut off the water supply before installation. Remove the protective stoppers from the inlet and outlet ports, insert the 1/4 inch (≈6 mm) plastic hose into the integrated quick-fit connections until it locks, then open the water supply and check for leaks. Replace the cartridge according to the refrigerator manufacturer's recommended interval or when water flow or taste declines.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the filter as a pre-filter on side-by-side refrigerators connected via a 1/4 inch (≈6 mm) hose, replace the cartridge at regular intervals specified by your refrigerator or water quality, and flush the filter for a short time after installation to remove trapped air and loose carbon particles.
