The Alphacool I/O ES Panel with cable set and USB 3.0 is made for Alphacool server cases and provides front access to power, reset and two USB 3.0 ports. The set contains a front I/O board that fits 1U to 4U server enclosures and a cable set with eight cables: seven 2‑pin leads for three network status LEDs, power LED, HDD LED and for the power and reset switches, plus a 19‑pin header cable for USB 3.0.

Advantages

The panel offers compact front connectivity with two USB 3.0 ports and dedicated status LEDs for network, power and storage activity. All LEDs and switches use 2‑pin connectors for straightforward wiring, and the board can be fixed with four screws using mounting holes with 3.5 mm inner diameter arranged in a 74 mm x 24 mm rectangle (center to center). How to use

Mount the I/O board at the front of the server chassis using four screws matching the 3.5 mm inner diameter holes and 74 mm x 24 mm spacing. Connect each 2‑pin cable to the corresponding motherboard or chassis header for network LEDs, power LED, HDD LED, and power/reset switches. Plug the 19‑pin USB 3.0 cable into the motherboard’s USB 3.0 header to enable the two front USB ports. Route the 80 cm cables carefully to avoid interference with other components and secure them as needed.

Recommendations

Check motherboard header pinouts before connection to ensure correct LED and switch orientation. Use appropriate screws and grounding procedures when installing in server racks. Do not force connectors — align pins carefully to avoid damage.
