The Alphacool HPE full copper radiator builds on more than a decade of Alphacool experience with NexXxoS full copper radiators. Manufactured with pure copper water-bearing parts and fins, this 124 mm × 45 mm radiator increases internal channel density and fin rows to enlarge the volume of water in direct contact with cooling fins. Compared with conventional NexXxoS models, the HPE design improves heat transfer and can deliver up to approximately 4.5 K better cooling in standard conditions and up to about 6 K under higher ambient temperatures and fan speeds. The radiator includes two G1/4" threaded IN/OUT connections in the pre-chamber area and a dedicated fill/drain port on the opposite side. It is supplied with the screws required for case and fan mounting and weighs about 1.24 kg.

How to use

Install the radiator in the case using the supplied screws, aligning fan and case mounting holes. Connect tubing to the G1/4" IN and OUT threaded ports as required by your loop configuration and use the opposite fill/drain port when filling or draining the circuit. Ensure fittings are tightened to prevent leaks but do not overtighten to avoid thread damage. Verify the radiator is mounted securely and that protective plates are in place beneath mounting screws to protect fins and channels.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the HPE radiator in well-ventilated enclosures with appropriate fan profiles; higher fan speeds and operation in warmer ambient conditions can increase the relative performance advantage of the HPE design.
