How to use

Hold the Laserliner ActiveFinder XP by its insulated body and switch on the unit. For non-contact voltage detection, bring the tip of the tester close to the conductor, socket or component under test and observe the LED colour and acoustic/vibration feedback. To illuminate the work area, use the integrated flashlight or the additional LED. When tracing concealed lines, move the tip slowly along the cable path and use the device’s high sensitivity (Zoom) to locate the conductor or a break. Follow applicable safety procedures and de-energise circuits where possible before making contact-based checks.
