Vivolink Active Subwoofer is designed to complement Vivolink speaker systems and can be mounted overhead in ceilings or installed under furniture. It is suitable for meeting rooms, hotels and auditoriums, offering a dedicated low-frequency output and options to connect both active and passive satellite speakers.

Advantages

The subwoofer provides 50 Watts of low-frequency power and includes line input and RCA line out for easy integration with active satellite speakers. An internal amplifier supplies up to 2 x 25 W for passive ceiling satellite speakers, allowing use without an external amplifier. Multiple inputs are available — 100 V, balanced input and RCA line in — and outputs include RCA line out and speaker outputs, giving flexible connection options for different AV setups.

How to use

Mount the subwoofer in the chosen location (in ceiling or under furniture) and connect the audio source via RCA line in, balanced input or 100 V line as required. For active Vivolink satellites, use the RCA line out/line output to feed the satellite speakers. For passive ceiling satellites, connect them to the speaker outputs to use the internal 2 x 25 W amplifier. If Bluetooth is used, note that Bluetooth provides audio output to the speaker itself but is not supported for line-out transmission.

Recommendations

Place the subwoofer centrally relative to the listening area or near the ceiling cavity to achieve even bass distribution. For best results in larger rooms (approaching 200 m2), verify system matching with the satellite speakers and adjust placement and crossover settings on the connected devices where available.
