VLSC242M is a 4x2 seamless KVM switcher with Multiview and an HDBaseT receiver included. Built on HDBaseT 3.0, it supports up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video and handles both HDMI and USB-C sources. The unit is housed in a metal enclosure and accepts AC 110–230V power.

How to use

Connect source devices to the transmitter inputs (HDMI or USB-C). If a laptop supports USB-C power delivery, it can be charged by the connected USB-C input (up to 100 W). Connect the HDBaseT output to the included receiver using a compatible Cat cable to extend video, audio and USB signals to the remote location. Use the local HDMI output for a nearby display if required. For conferencing, enable the USB3.0 video stream to connect to platforms such as Teams or Zoom. Control switching via front-panel controls, TCP/IP or RS232 integration.

Recommendations

For reliable HDBaseT performance over long runs, use a high-quality Cat6a/Cat7 cable and keep cable runs within recommended distances. Verify source devices support the required video and HDCP formats and ensure firmware and connected conferencing software support USB3.0 video streaming where needed.
