The VIOFO video recorder offers three parking modes. Auto Event Detection automatically records a 35-second clip when motion is detected. The buffering function starts recording 5 seconds before and ends 30 seconds after the event occurs. Timelapse Recording mode records video at a reduced frame rate (1 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 10 fps) without sound, saving both power and memory card space. With Low Bitrate Recording mode, you can count on continuous recording of small file sizes along with sound, which also helps save more space on the MicroSD card.

Automatic locking of emergency recordings

The built-in G-sensor automatically locks the recording in the event of a shock or collision, preventing important moments from being overwritten during loop recording. How to use

Mount the dashcam on the windscreen near the rear-view mirror using the supplied mount so the 140° lens has an unobstructed view of the road. Insert a compatible MicroSD card formatted to the recommended file system and connect the unit to the vehicle DC power outlet or a hardwired power kit. Use the built-in display and menu to set resolution, frame rate, date/time and GPS preferences. During driving the camera will automatically record and create timestamped files; in parking mode it will monitor for impacts or motion depending on configuration. To review footage, play files directly on the display or remove the MicroSD card and view on a computer.
