Video Cable Adapter HDMI DVI-D ShiverPeaks 77480-SPP

The ShiverPeaks 77480-SPP is a 1 m video cable adapter with HDMI and DVI‑D connectors designed to connect HDMI source devices to DVI‑D displays. The cable supports digital video transmission between compatible devices and is supplied in a compact, blue jacket that is easy to route and integrate into desktop or conference-room setups.

Advantages

This adapter provides a direct digital connection for high-quality video transfer without analog conversion, reducing signal loss when linking HDMI outputs to DVI‑D inputs. Its 1 m length keeps cable runs neat while offering enough reach for typical monitor and projector placements. The molded connectors and colored jacket make it simple to identify and handle during installs and rearrangements.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, desktop PCs or media players with HDMI output to monitors or projectors with DVI‑D input
• Office workstations and home desks where a short, reliable video link is required
• Conference rooms and classrooms that use mixed HDMI and DVI‑D equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector A: HDMI (digital video)
• Connector B: DVI‑D (digital video)
• Colour: Blue
• Signal type: Digital video only (no analog pinout)

How to use

Connect the HDMI end to the HDMI output of your source device and the DVI‑D end to the display's DVI‑D input. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the physical connection, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the display if necessary. Because the adapter only carries digital video, audio will not be transmitted through this cable and requires a separate audio connection when needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use this adapter for direct digital video connections at standard desktop resolutions. Avoid excessive bending near the connector housings and keep the cable length appropriate for the environment to maintain signal integrity. If audio transfer is required, prepare a separate audio cable or use a device with integrated audio output capabilities.
