The InLine® Smart Hub is a reliable and powerful solution for expanding USB ports in demanding IT environments. It combines a USB 3.2 Gen.1 interface with a data rate of up to 5 Gb/s for fast file transfers with six additional USB 2.0 ports for other peripheral devices.

An integrated quick-charging port with up to 2.1 A ensures a fast power supply for mobile devices, provided an optional 5 V DC / 3 A power supply unit is used. The LED status display provides information on the current operating status at all times: red LED for charging mode, green LED for data transfer.

Thanks to the plug-and-play function, the hub can be immediately integrated into existing systems without additional driver installation. The compact and robust ABS housing is ideal for use in confined spaces or in mobile working environments. With a cable length of 50 cm, the hub also offers sufficient flexibility for various areas of application.

How to use

Connect the hub to your computer using the integrated or supplied USB Type-A host connector. Once connected, the operating system should recognise the hub and enumerate the attached ports automatically; no additional drivers are typically required for modern Windows, macOS or Linux systems. Plug USB devices into the available Type-A ports; use the USB 3.0 ports for high-speed storage devices and the dedicated fast-charge port for charging mobile devices. Ensure the host system provides sufficient power for connected devices or use an externally powered USB hub solution if high current draw peripherals are used.

Recommendations
