USB-C to USB-C Cable Ochno O-USBG2-70-1 — USB 3.2 Gen 2, DP Alt Mode 1.4, Male–Male, Braided, 0.7 m, White

Ochno O-USBG2-70-1 is a USB-C to USB-C straight cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates and DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode for video output. With male-to-male USB-C connectors, a braided outer jacket and a 0.7 m length, this cable is designed to connect laptops, tablets or smartphones to monitors, docks and external drives where both high-speed data transfer and video passthrough are required.

Advantages

The cable delivers up to USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth for fast file transfers and reliable peripheral connectivity while supporting DP Alt Mode 1.4 to carry video signals to compatible displays. Its braided jacket improves mechanical durability and reduces abrasion, and the straight male-to-male USB-C termination ensures a compact, reversible connection. The 0.7 m length reduces cable clutter on desks and is convenient for short-range connections between devices and nearby docks or monitors.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

When it may not be suitable

The cable does not provide information about power delivery wattage; it may not support high-wattage charging for capable laptops or devices that require specific PD profiles. For very long-distance connections or situations requiring cable lengths greater than 0.7 m, a longer cable or active solution will be necessary. Compatibility depends on the host and display supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 and DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one USB-C end to your host device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) and the other end to a monitor, dock or external drive that accepts USB-C input. If connecting to a monitor for video output, ensure the host device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and select the appropriate input on the display. For data transfers, confirm both devices support USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds to achieve maximum throughput. Handle the braided cable by the connector housings when unplugging to avoid stress on the terminations.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For reliable video and data performance, use the cable for direct, short connections between compatible hosts and displays or docks. Avoid routing the braided cable tightly around sharp edges or exposing it to repeated heavy bending near the connectors to prolong service life.
