The switch supports two transmission modes (Extend Mode On/Off), a maximum total PoE budget of 120 W and a red high-power port compatible with IEEE 802.3bt and Hi-PoE standards. It is designed for reliable wired connectivity in environments such as homes, offices, server rooms and small shopping areas.

How to use

Install the switch on a desktop or wall mount and connect power. Attach network devices or PoE cameras to the PoE RJ-45 ports and use the uplink Ethernet or SFP ports to connect to your core network. Configure Extend Mode or PoE Watchdog via the available WEB interface or hardware dial where applicable to enable long-distance transmission or automatic port recovery. Ensure the total PoE consumption of connected devices does not exceed the 120 W budget, and place high-power devices on the red port when higher per-port power is required.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat5e/Cat6 cables for PoE over long distance where possible, monitor total PoE load to avoid exceeding the 120 W budget, and reserve the red high-power port for devices that require up to 90 W. Enable PoE Watchdog to reduce manual maintenance and enable Extend Mode only when lower bandwidth (10 Mbps) is acceptable for longer runs.
