How to use

Connect the transmitter to the cable under test using the appropriate RJ11, RJ45 or crocodile leads supplied, then switch the transmitter on and select the desired test mode. Use the receiver to follow the generated signal along the cable route, listening via the built-in speaker or the 3.5 mm headphone jack for clearer indication. For continuity, short or break checks, use the transmitter’s test mode and observe the receiver response; polarity is indicated by the dedicated polarity test function. Recharge both units with the supplied USB cable when the low power indicator appears.
