UNI-T UT18E voltage and continuity tester
UNI-T UT18E voltage and continuity tester is a practical tool for quick diagnostics of electrical installations. It allows you to measure AC/DC voltages up to 1000 volts, test phase sequence, circuit continuity and operation of residual current circuit breakers. It is convenient to use and at the same time provides a clear reading both on the LCD screen and with backlit LEDs.
Universal voltage measurement range
The UT18E supports up to 8 voltage levels: 6V, 12V, 24V, 50V, 120V, 230V, 400V, 690V and 1000V. It operates in both AC and DC modes, which makes it suitable for various types of installations - from domestic to industrial. The automatic polarity recognition function further helps avoid errors when diagnosing DC circuits.
Continuity measurement and RCD test
The tester allows you to check the continuity of a circuit in the range of 0 Ω to 60 kΩ, and the built-in audible signal and LED light indicate that the current is flowing correctly. The UT18E also allows you to test residual current devices (RCDs) at 230 V and 50-400 Hz, which increases the safety of the installation's use.
Additional functions to make work easier
LCD display indicates voltage in the range of 6-1000 V, and frequency in the range of 40-400 Hz. A built-in flashlight, audible signal, automatic shut-off function and silent mode make the UT18E a convenient tool. The tester is IP65-rated, which means dust and splash resistance - it will work well in construction and industrial conditions.

How to use
Connect the tester probes according to the measured circuit, select the required measurement mode and read the value on the LCD or observe the LED indicators. For phase rotation check, measure between phases in a 3-phase system within 100–400 V AC and 50/60 Hz. Use the continuity function to verify circuit paths (0 Ω–60 kΩ) and listen for the audible signal or watch the LED for confirmation. To test RCDs, apply the tester function at 230 V and appropriate frequency range. Follow standard safety procedures: de-energize when required, use protective equipment and observe manufacturer recommendations.
Recommendations
Before each use, inspect probes and housing for damage, replace weak batteries (low battery indication at ~2.4 V), and avoid exposure to fluids beyond IP65 protection. Do not exceed specified overvoltage limits and consult qualified personnel for installation work beyond routine testing.
