Tubular rivet KWB 407476 Aluminium 4mm diameter 16mm length

The KWB 407476 tubular rivet is made of aluminium with a zinc-plated mandrel and is designed for secure blind fastening. With a 4 mm tail diameter and 16 mm length, this rivet is supplied in a pack of 50 and is manufactured in Germany. It is compatible with pop rivet guns that accept this rivet type (see part no. 407200 for the matching tool).

How to use

Select a pop rivet gun compatible with 4 mm tubular rivets (referenced tool: part no. 407200). Drill a hole matching the 4 mm rivet diameter, insert the rivet through the joined materials, place the rivet mandrel into the rivet gun nosepiece and operate the tool until the mandrel breaks off and the rivet body forms a secure clinch. Remove any mandrel remnants and inspect the joint for proper setting.

Recommendations

Use with a rivet gun rated for 4 mm aluminium rivets and a matching nosepiece size; pre-drill holes to the correct diameter and ensure materials are properly clamped to achieve reliable joints. Store in a dry place to maintain condition.
