How to use

Install the camera outdoors using a suitable mount and route a single RJ45 cable to provide power and network via PoE. Insert a compatible microSD card if local recording is required, or configure recording to a VIGI NVR or network storage through the VIGI client. Use the VIGI app or web/NVR interface to set detection rules, define activity zones, adjust patrol routes, and configure alerts. For AI-based searches, use the people and vehicle analytics filters to quickly locate events by attributes such as clothing, hair length, color or vehicle type.

Recommendations

For reliable H.265+ operation with tile encoding enabled on high horizontal resolutions, use a VIGI NVR. Position supplemental lights and set activity zones to cover key areas and reduce false alarms; enable active defense when required by site policy.
