The TP-Link VIGI C330 is a 3MP outdoor bullet IP security camera with a resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels, a fixed 4 mm lens and a CMOS sensor. Designed for outdoor wired installations, the camera supports ceiling, wall or pole mounting and delivers wide coverage with an 89.1° horizontal and 45.1° vertical field of view. How to use

Install the TP-Link VIGI C330 at the chosen ceiling, wall or pole location and run a single RJ45 cable to provide both power and network connectivity via PoE. Position the camera to cover the target area within its 89.1° horizontal view and adjust mounting hardware to secure the housing. Configure the camera through the web UI, NVR UI, VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager to set resolution, detection rules (human/vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion, tamper, object removal), audio recording and recording/streaming preferences. Verify the supplemental lighting and image enhancement settings for optimal full-color night performance.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor surveillance, mount the camera at a stable location 2.5–4 m above ground when possible, aim it to minimise direct exposure to strong light sources, enable AI human/vehicle classification to reduce false alarms, and use PoE switches or injectors that meet the camera’s power requirements.
