How to use

Mount the camera on a ceiling, wall or pole using the included bracket and fasteners, positioning it to cover the desired area. Connect the camera to your network via Ethernet cable; if using PoE, a single PoE switch or injector will provide both power and data. Alternatively, connect a 12V DC power supply and network cable separately. Configure basic settings and smart detection rules through your compatible VIGI NVR or management software, set recording schedules, and adjust image settings such as WDR and IR behaviour to suit the scene.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, choose the lens (4 mm or 6 mm) according to the coverage and distance required: use the wider-angle lens for enclosed or close-range areas and the higher-millimetre lens for longer-range views. Ensure the camera is mounted at a stable location with a clear line of sight, keep the lens clean from debris, and verify PoE power supply capacity when multiple cameras are connected to the same switch. Regularly review firmware and NVR software updates to maintain compatibility and security.
