Omada SG6654X is a managed Layer 3 switch that provides L3 routing, high-speed wired connectivity and resilient power options for convergence-layer deployments. Advantages

How to use

Install the SG6654X in a standard 19" rack and connect uplink or aggregation links to the 10 Gbps SFP+ slots and access devices to the 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports. Configure Layer 3 routing protocols and VLANs via the Omada SDN controller, the web-based GUI or the CLI depending on your management preference. For monitoring and alerts, enable SNMP and RMON. Use the stacking ports and procedures to join up to four units when greater aggregated throughput or redundancy is required.

Recommendations

For mission-critical deployments enable VRRP and ERPS, keep a documented IP and VLAN plan before configuring routing protocols, and use the redundant power supply capability to minimise downtime. When centrally managing multiple devices, use the Omada SDN controller with ZTP for streamlined provisioning.
