Mesh WiFi system TP‑Link Aginet AX5400 — Dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax), up to 5400 Mbps, 2 LAN ports, internal antennas, white

TP‑Link Aginet AX5400 is a whole‑home mesh WiFi system in white with internal antennas, offering dual‑band operation (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) support. With a maximum combined WLAN throughput of up to 5400 Mbps, the system provides stable wireless performance across an entire home and supports router and access point modes. It also supports remote management (TR‑069/TR‑369 and related TR interfaces) to simplify ISP‑side device management.

Advantages

The mesh system delivers high combined speeds—up to 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz—while offering full gigabit Ethernet ports for stable wired connections and strong Ethernet backhaul. Built‑in security features include WPA3 alongside legacy WPA/WPA2, Multi‑SSID and parental controls. EasyMesh compatibility and the Aginet app enable straightforward setup and flexible network expansion. TAUC cloud and TR‑series remote management protocols are supported for centralized administration.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Providing seamless whole‑home WiFi coverage in small to medium houses or apartments
• Streaming 4K video, online gaming, and video calls on multiple devices
• Hybrid wired/wireless installations that use Ethernet backhaul or multiple wired clients
• ISP deployment scenarios requiring TR‑069/TR‑369 or cloud‑based remote management

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi standard: Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax); backward compatible with 802.11ac/n/g/b/a

• Colour: White

How to use

Unbox the unit and connect one node to your modem using an Ethernet cable for WAN, then power the device using the supplied 12 V / 2 A adapter. Install the Aginet app on an Android or iOS device and follow the in‑app instructions to create the mesh network and add additional nodes. Configure wireless SSID, password, Multi‑SSID, parental controls and QoS through the app or via supported TR‑management interfaces for remote provisioning by an ISP.

Recommendations

Place primary and satellite units in open, elevated locations away from large metal objects and microwaves. For best performance, use Ethernet backhaul where possible and keep firmware up to date via the Aginet app or remote management.
