How to use

Place a Deco unit where you need improved coverage or mount it on a ceiling or wall using the supplied accessories. Connect the primary Deco to your modem via Ethernet and provide power either through a compatible PoE switch or the included DC adapter. Install the Deco app on an Android or iOS device, follow the in‑app setup steps to create or join a Deco network, and add additional Deco units as needed to expand coverage. Use the Deco app to view connected devices, prioritize traffic, create a guest network, and manage settings remotely.

Recommendations

For best performance, place Deco units centrally in coverage areas, avoid obstructions between units where possible, and connect high-bandwidth devices to the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port. When deploying multiple units, maintain a reasonable distance to ensure overlapping coverage while minimizing interference. Use PoE when ceiling or wall mounting to simplify cabling and reduce the need for nearby power outlets.
