Thermaltake TOUGHFAN EX12 Pro 12 cm White is a 120 mm case fan with a maximum speed of 2000 RPM and hydraulic bearing. It is built to deliver elevated airflow and static pressure while keeping noise low, and includes MagForce 2.0 quick connect for simplified fan-to-fan or cable connections.

Advantages

MagForce 2.0 increases the pogo-pin contact pad area to improve alignment tolerance, reducing faulty connections when daisy-chaining fans or connecting with cables. The nine lengthened fan blades are made from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) to reduce vibration and provide higher airflow and stronger static pressure. The square frame minimizes air leakage when mounted to a chassis or radiator, and in-mold anti-vibration rubber pads cover the corners to dampen vibration and keep noise low. Fan blades are removable for cleaning or swapping, and the package includes bearing lubricant for maintenance.

How to use

Install the TOUGHFAN EX12 Pro in your case or on a radiator using standard fan screws or the anti-vibration mounting points. Connect the fan using the included cable or use MagForce 2.0 quick connect to daisy-chain multiple fans. If you need to clean or replace blades, carefully pop out the blades, rinse and dry them thoroughly, and reattach. Apply the included bearing lubricant to the bearing if required after cleaning.

Recommendations

Mount the fan with the airflow direction aligned from intake to exhaust or front to back depending on your case layout; when used on radiators, prioritize static pressure orientation. Use the anti-vibration pads and ensure blades are fully seated after reinstallation. For long-term operation, check and reapply bearing lubricant when performing maintenance.
