The Thermaltake Pure Duo 12 is a 120 mm PWM-controlled case fan with a dual-ring, addressable 5V RGB LED design that displays up to 16.8 million colors. How to use

Install the fan into a compatible 120 mm mounting location in the PC case using the supplied screws or anti-vibration mounts. Connect the 3- or 4-pin PWM power connector to a motherboard fan header to enable speed control between 500 and 1500 RPM. For lighting control, connect the 5V addressable RGB cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header on the motherboard, or use the included preset controller to change modes, colors and speeds without a motherboard header.

Recommendations

For synchronization with motherboard lighting software, connect the 5V ARGB header and use ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync or ASRock Polychrome. If you prefer quieter operation, configure motherboard fan curves to keep the fan at lower RPM during light workloads and allow higher speeds when temperatures rise.
