The station calculates sums for different periods (last 24 hours, last 7 days, up to total since commissioning) and stores monthly precipitation data for the last 12 months. Additional information such as a weather symbol (based on the integrated barometer), indoor temperature and humidity, and the current time and full date received via DCF-77 are also provided. Two extra transmitters for temperature and humidity monitoring can be added, for example in a child's room or a garage.

How to use

Place the rain collector in an open outdoor location where rain can fall freely into the measuring container from all sides. Mount the combined outdoor sensor in a sheltered, ventilated position away from direct heat and sunlight to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. The transmitters send data wirelessly to the base station; follow the included setup instructions to pair sensors and configure time and alarm thresholds. View live rainfall on the base station display, access summarized periods and monthly records, and connect up to two additional sensors if needed.

Recommendations

Install the rain collector on a stable, level surface or mount according to the manual to avoid measurement errors. Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded, airflow-exposed spot and replace batteries before they run out to maintain continuous data transmission.
