Telephone spare part Alcatel-Lucent 3BN67347AA

The Alcatel-Lucent 3BN67347AA is an adjustable-length pull cord accessory designed for use with compatible DECT handsets such as models 8262 and 8262EX. The pull cord attaches to the side of the DECT device and can be routed around a worker's shoulder or belt so the handset can be disconnected quickly in an emergency. A sudden disconnection of the cord triggers an alarm, providing a fast and reliable way to alert others to a problem.

Advantages

This Alcatel-Lucent spare part provides a robust and simple method for lone-worker safety by enabling quick alarm activation through physical disconnection. The adjustable length allows flexible placement on the body, and its compatibility with Alcatel-Lucent 8262 and 8262EX handsets ensures straightforward integration into existing DECT systems.

How to use

Attach the pull cord to the designated side connection point on the compatible DECT handset. Adjust the cord length and place it around the shoulder or belt so it is comfortable and accessible. In an emergency, the worker pulls or the cord is disconnected, which causes the DECT handset to register the disconnection and trigger the alarm according to the handset/system configuration.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the pull cord and attachment point for signs of wear, and test the alarm function with your DECT system to confirm correct operation. Replace the accessory if any damage or unreliable triggering is detected.
