tesaflex® 4163 is a premium black PVC adhesive tape designed for electronic applications and general insulation tasks. Made from soft PVC with an acrylate-based adhesive, the tape combines flexibility with resistance to UV, temperature and certain chemicals, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil or dust before application. Cut or tear the tape to the required length and wrap it smoothly around cables or surfaces, applying firm pressure to activate the adhesive. Overlap each turn slightly for continuous coverage when insulating. For outdoor use, ensure full adhesion by pressing along the edges to reduce water ingress.

Recommendations

For electrical insulation and marking, use tesaflex® 4163 at ambient temperatures and avoid applying to surfaces below recommended temperature ranges. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.
