The TESA 05445-00100 10 m White seal is a self-adhesive rubber sealing strip designed to close gaps between 1 mm and 3.5 mm. Supplied as a 10-metre roll in white, the strip combines flexible rubber material with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing to provide a continuous barrier against drafts, dust and minor moisture ingress on windows, doors and frames. The neutral white colour integrates with most painted and unpainted surfaces in residential and light commercial interiors.

How to use

Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose paint. Measure the required length and cut the strip to size with scissors or a knife. Peel off the protective liner from the adhesive side and press the seal firmly into place along the gap, applying even pressure to secure full contact with the substrate. For best adhesion allow the product to remain undisturbed for several hours after application and avoid heavy mechanical stress on the joint for 24 hours.

Recommendations

For durable adhesion, apply at room temperature on surfaces whose temperature is within the manufacturer’s recommended range. Do not use outdoors or in locations subject to constant water immersion or high mechanical wear. If removal becomes necessary, gently pull the strip off at a low angle and remove residual adhesive with a suitable solvent compatible with the substrate.
