Subwoofer Omnitronic FH-18 18 inch 800W active low-frequency speaker

Omnitronic FH-18 is an active 18-inch subwoofer with 800W power designed to reproduce and reinforce low-frequency content in live sound, DJ setups and fixed installations. The FH-18 extends the low end of full-range systems, adding depth and impact to music and programme material while integrating with PA systems and amplifiers to provide controlled bass response for venues and events.

Advantages

The FH-18 combines a large 18" driver and a built-in amplifier to deliver focused low-frequency output with high SPL capability and reliable thermal management. Its active design simplifies system setup by eliminating the need for an external amplifier and allows for consistent performance across a range of input levels. The cabinet construction and connector options support secure installation and straightforward integration with mixers and full-range loudspeakers.

How to use

Place the FH-18 on a stable surface or mount it according to the venue layout to ensure even bass distribution. Connect the audio source or mixer to the subwoofer inputs and link the subwoofer outputs to full-range speakers if required. Adjust level and crossover settings on the subwoofer or the system processor to blend the low frequencies with the main speakers. Monitor levels to avoid clipping and to maintain headroom during peaks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position the FH-18 near walls or corners to increase low-frequency reinforcement when appropriate, and use correct crossover points (typically between 80–120 Hz depending on main speakers) to achieve a balanced system. Regularly check connections, protect the subwoofer from moisture, and allow adequate ventilation for the built-in amplifier during extended operation.
